Three MEI students (Miguel Palhas, Pedro Pereira and Roberto Machado) applied for the Innovation Challenge in September. The project of these students was selected for the final stage of the competition. On Monday, they will present the mobile application that was developed under the project.
This project is a partnership with AUMEA (UMinho Agency for Energy and Environment) and is within the scope of the STOP Campaign. This campaign was mobilized at both campuses (Gualtar and Azurém), with the objective of promoting the rational use of energy.
In general, the Android application developed by these students will allow the user to inform about any kind of waste energy that is found in any area of the two campuses.
