Rui Quelhas and Nuno Abreu, two MEI students currently finishing the 2nd academic year, will present results of their dissertations at the 11th Conference on Computer Networks (CRC2011). This event, which will take place in Coimbra, on November 17-18, is the Portuguese forum for the presentation and discussion of high-quality research results in the area of computer networks.
The article, co-authored by Rui Quelhas, entitled "The phenomenon of social networks in opportunistic routing", starts from a very common scenario, called Pocket Switched Networks (PSNs), to introduce a framework for supporting opportunistic communications on mobile environments, based on the principle of convergence of the physical and the social contacts of each node.
The poster co-authored by Nuno Abreu, entitled "A framework for lightweight spontaneous content dissemination in mobile mesh networks," describes the design and the implementation of an integrated solution for content access in Mobile Mesh Networks.
