On Oct.02, Carlos Miguel Regedor Tower was in Lisbon to attend the International Symposium on Project Approaches in Engineering Education (PAEE 2011). The main objective was to present a paper, written by himself and his colleague Luís Couto Duarte, also a MEI student .
The article, entitled Challenges and Benefits of Large Scale Software Projects, was nominated for Best Students Paper and it reflects the experience and knowledge obtained after implementing a project in the UCE15 Seminars. The project in question resulted in the creation of a start-up named Group Buddies. At the closing ceremony, the article was selected as the Best Students Paper.
