Ricardo dos Santos Silva received on June 29th, 2011, the 2010 MEI Best Student Award. The award was presented during JOIN 2011 and was followed by a presentation of Ricardo's master dissertation, which is entitled "Mobility in Heterogeneous Access Environments with Android Terminals". This work was co-supervised by Paulo Carvalho and Pedro Sousa and was developed in cooperation with an industrial partner (PT Inovação). The work is described in detail in a scientific article published in the Mobile Networks and Applications journal.
