PIS
Project in Intelligent Systems
Objectives
- To decide, in a problem involving some complexity, whether it makes sense to use an Intelligent System, by evaluating the advantages that may result from it and determining if the necessary conditions for its viability exist;
- Clearly defining the objectives of the Intelligent System, identifying the class of problem to be solved, defining the development and evaluation method to be followed and applying the techniques and/or models best suited to problem solving;
- Participate in a project to develop and implement Intelligent Systems using development tools appropriate to the defined objectives, ensuring their efficiency and, possibly, interoperability with other systems;
- Evaluate the capabilities of Intelligent Systems in terms of relevance, performance, efficiency and cost/benefit.
Program
- Definition of an Intelligent Systems Project
- Review of concepts and techniques
- Project planning
- Project Development
- Project evaluation and validation
- Project presentation and discution
